The MOMS Club®, is part of an international non-profit organization for stay-at-home mothers. You do not need to be a full-time at-home mom to join. Many of our members work part-time or have home-based businesses. Nationally, the MOMS Club® has approximately 1,500 chapters and over 75,000 members. It is the largest and fastest growing national support group designed to support women who have proudly chosen at-home mothering. We meet during the day, and children are always welcome!
A FEW OF THE THINGS WE OFFER ARE:
Monthly Meetings: We have monthly meetings where we conduct chapter business, host occasional speakers, and have an environment conducive to free play for your children.
Monthly Calendar Activities: We plan various outings each month to encourage socialization, exercise, creativity, and much more . Some of our activities may include: outings to area parks, playgrounds and zoos; fruit and vegetable picking; holiday socials; and craft/art activities. We encourage all members to host/plan activities. We utilize Facebook and Google Calendar as the main source of advertising activities to members. Each Playgroup is assigned a month and is responsible for planning 2-3 events.
MOMS Night Out: We plan a monthly Moms Night Out, which may include pot-luck dinner at a member’s home, a comedy club, a movie out, theme-gift bingo, a quiet evening at the library, outlet mall shopping, or dinner out. Just a little something to treat ourselves to some well-deserved grown-up time!
Playgroups: The MOMS Club offers playgroups for moms and same-age children. Each group decides on the schedule that works best for them. The playgroups are rotated among members’ homes or sometimes held at a park or indoor play facility.
Service Projects: We do several service projects a year to benefit local families or agencies in need. Our projects range from food drives to school supply drives to collecting Mother’s Day gifts for a battered women shelter. Our goal is to vary our projects to allow our members to have many opportunities of interest. It’s a great way for our members to “work,” while teaching our children the valuable lesson of helping others.
Momma Meals: We provide support for those moms who recently gave birth, who are having a hard time or who recently had a tragedy in their family - such as a death, a spousal layoff, etc. It is a way to add a little "sunshine" in the life of another mom!
If you are a resident and decide that the MOMS Club® is for you, our annual dues are $25. Dues help cover the cost of insurance, postage, materials, etc.
